This island was founded in the late 18th century by a ship of Spanish explorers, at first, the captain of the ship, Roberto Palmeña, wanted to keep the island for himself, and called it “Palmerania”. However, short after that, his clients, the Pacificez family, found out and claimed the upper half of the island, where they build an estate. From then on the island became the private property of the Pacificez family and all the surrounding houses were for staff. Years went by, but during the Great war and Great Depression, the island became a refuge for the rich, who needed to hide their money or start their life’s over. Nowadays the island is a quiet hide-out spot for sims who want to get away from their life’s in the city and enjoy the calming atmosphere of the ocean.
