Calydor is the Singer and mystic of the Plains Unicorns and Aljan Moonbrow's true Sire. He met Ses, Aljan's Dam when she was making her trip to the moonpool. He lured her away to join him for a time roaming the plains before out of a sense of duty Ses returned to the circle herd and pledged to Korr while she was in foal with Calydor's offspring passing the colt off as Korr's prematurely born. Calydor was described as having the stars wrapped around his body, the embodiment of the night sky.
