Pete is convinced that the end is nigh and frankly he's not that bothered, he's busy in his bomb shelter ensuring that when the time comes he'll be king of the hill, maybe even get himself a minion or two but whatever he chooses he'll use whatever means nessecary to get what he wants. And if he upsets some people along the way well, he'll just consider that a bonus!
